Time for Action

"Do not waste time idling or thinking after you have set your goals." -Musashi

Setting goals.

Writing out your goals.

Reflecting on your goals.

All good things but of course it's really all about...

Reaching or achieving goals.

The thing to be mindful of is that, for most people, after the setting, writing, reflecting, and especially the reaching or achieving, the mind has a tendency to relax. This is the time to take action.

An article I wrote, What comes first, action or motivation?, explains how action breeds motivation. After the motivation comes momentum.

Next comes the sense of increased self-efficacy. Then...

Self-empowerment.

So find a goal you've been meaning to get to and get on it.

Already been working on one? Now is a good time to start on another.

Why are you still reading? It's time for some action!

The right action.
